Description
This is a small section of the watercolour that I am currently working on. It is a commission for a dear old friend of mine. I have to admit that when I was first presented with this idea to paint a landscape, I was a little daunted... wondering if I could pull off authentic looking clouds, but once I got going, there was no stopping me!!
I have always been drawn into nature and scenery, but have never painted any - unlike my mother who painted landscapes ALL the time. I think I will most certainly be painting more, if I can EVER finish this one!!
It has been a long month, working on this one, but I've had many an interruption in the meantime... but GOOD ones!! I was indeed accepted into two major exhibitions, with my paintings:

I'm soooooo excited!!!

Interesting for me to hear you were daunted by the idea of painting a landscape, since for me doing portraits and animals such as you do would really send me over the edge I think. I really admire how you did this one, and I think you style really shines in it as well.
