Fluffy - Acrylic - 24" x 36" = October 30, 2010

So, it's been awhile since I last posted... I was working on another painting when I remembered that I had wanted to do this one for my mother-in-law for her birthday - which is November 8th! Started it last weekend, did not touch it all week, and put the finishing touches on this yesterday. Probably the fastest I've painted in a hell of a long time - but it's done, and I want to keep it!!! ACK!!

Thanks for looking! :)

Nice work, sis! I love the detail in the peripheral, and the cat's eyes are mesmerizing.

Thanks Chris! You think Barbara will like it?!! I love the background on this one as well... I might do a few touch-ups still on the nose... something about it not sitting well with me, but otherwise, I'm quite happy with it! :)

Barb is going to love it! I'm not sure what else you can do with the nose. I'm drawn to the eyes first and then the background, and both are perfect. I think maybe it's the collar that's distracting.

I got rid of the collar, and touched up the nose. Gave it to her last night, she was very happy :)
